About me
I am a Primary School Teacher with over 20 years teaching experience with children of all ages in local Primary schools including Park Hall Junior, Coppice, Ryders Hayes and have an enhanced DBS certificate.
My skills include:
SAT Marker since 2004
SEN experience ( ASC, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia)
CURRENTLY working in school ( Y3-Y6)
As a teacher, I employ a child- centred approach to education, catering for individual needs and providing bespoke tuition to ensure children make the best possible progress whilst making learning both fun and enjoyable.
Classes
I teach from my home in Stonnall in a purpose built study room with a separate entrance.
For those who live locally, I offer the option to tutor in their homes if they prefer.
Classes are of 1 hour or 2 hour duration and include feedback to the parent/carer and homework. I invite all children and parents/carers for a free 20 minute assessment in order to understand the needs of the pupil.
I offer 2 options for tuition:
1 to 1 Tuition
or
1 to 2 children which can consist of either siblings or 2 friends.
The reason I keep my groups small is that from experience I have found that children are then given more individual attention and make better progress and are relaxed in their pairing.
